Mark May Isn't a Fan of an Ex-Redskin GM's Evaluation Skills

(Not many current Redskins have a ring on their fingers like that.)
Just happened to catch what I think was ESPN's College Football Live on Friday night (MASN was on a rain delay for the Orioles @ Nationals game) with Erin Andrews and former Hog/ESPN analyst Mark May. In one segment May was talking about the University of Texas and the problems they were having from the 2010 season. It was during the final portion of the segment that May had a mini tirade about Mack Brown bringing in a outside consultant to evaluate the team and their problems. A former Redskins GM by the way.

Guess who Brown brought in?
(What, did you think it was Charlie Casserly?)
Yep, our pal Vinny. Here's what May had to say about Mr. Cerrato:

" Mack Brown, I've got to question this. You brought in Vinny Cerrato to evaluate your team. Vinny Cerrato used to be the former General Manager of the Washington Redskins. He took the Redskins organization right down the drain. Joe Gibbs comes back, locks him in his office, takes the Redskins back to the playoffs and its respectability again. Joe Gibbs leaves. Vinny Cerrato comes back out of the office and they go down the drain again. Why do you bring in an evaluator who doesn't know how to evaluate? "

Hmmmm....wonder if this was one of the reasons the Skins broke ties with its alumni players during Vinny's reign?

Speaking of Vinny, if you deeply miss Vinny's insight from his appearances on Redskins Nation and his radio show Inside the Red Zone (ESPN 980) don't fret, Vinny now has a daily show on Baltimore's 105.7 The Fan where he co-hosts a show with Ken Weinman from 10AM to 1PM. Somewhere I can hear SHD screaming "Noooooooooo!!!!" as he already expressed his opinion on Vinny making appearances on his favorite sports talk radio station in the past.
