|(In a few hours will Peyton add another Lombardi to the Manning trophy case?)|
MetLife Stadium, NJ
This is a harder game to call because it begs to question the old NFL adage that states "Defense Wins Championships". Clearly Seattle has the better defense in this game and I think overall, they have the better team. That said, they're going up against one of the most potent offenses in the league that has shown that they can succeed on both the ground and air. Also, it helps that they have one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history who has made an amazing comeback after a neck injury that could have ended his career.
I Think in the end this game will be closer than some expect. I'm guessing that Denver will have one big play on a kick return and Russell Wilson gets picked off at least once in this game. The key for the Seahawks will be shutting down Manning.
It can be done. The Redskins of all teams were able to do it through three quarters this season forcing Manning to turnover the ball three times. The problem for the 'Skins was that they just couldn't keep it up.
I think Manning is a man possessed to win his second Super Bowl and in the end he'll do enough to get the Broncos over the top.
Final Score: 27-24 Broncos
MVP: Peyton Manning (Duh! If the Broncos win there is a 99% chance he gets it no matter what happens in the game).
