Better late than never I suppose, Figured I would get this in now before final cuts start coming out today.
Robert Griffin III
Thoughts: Skins may still dangle Cousins for a big trade, but I see the 'Skins ready to bring him in if RGIII falters or gets hurt in the first few games.
Roy Helu Jr.
Thoughts: Speed kills and while I really like Redd, I think the 'Skins try to stash him away on the practice squad - will be called up if injury.
Thoughts: No change since camp started.
Thoughts: Pretty much been this group of six for awhile.
Thoughts: Hmmm....still think LeRibeus and Compton are on the bubble, but I think the 'Skins are happy with nine O-Linemen.
Thoughts: Stephen Bowen will start the season on the PUP list, so its Clifton Geathers' job for now.
Thoughts: Miller slightly edges out Everette Brown for the last OLB spot
Thoughts: *Sharpton's injury keeps him off the roster depending on how severe Jordan's injury was from last night.
Thoughts: Just didn't get enough from Richard Crawford or Chase Minnifield to justify keeping 6 CBs.
Both Crawford and Minnifield have practice squad eligibility.
Thoughts: The Redskins go with experience over youth with Robinson who will be on the roster for at least as long as Meriweather is suspended. Could be longer if Phillip Thomas is seriously hurt.
** Five S listed because of impending Brandon Meriweather suspension.
LS: Nick Sundberg
P/H: Tress Way
K: Zack Hocker
Thoughts: When Way is kicking well he has amazing distance and hangtime, better than Malone. Hocker is just a better kickoff specialist and the Redskins know they'll need to pin opposing offenses back this season.
